Valor - Changing Data into Information - Management



Mr. Ofer Shofman, CEO and co-founder of Valor. Mr. Shofman has a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering with excellence from the Technion in Haifa (1987). Mr. Shofman has over 14 years experience in the development, management and sales of software products to the electronics industry. From 1994 -1996 Mr. Shofman managed various software R&D projects at Valor Ltd. In 1997, he was promoted to President of Valor Far East, and in this capacity he established and managed Valor's Far East and Japanese subsidiaries. In July of 2002, Mr. Shofman was appointed to the position of President and CEO of Valor.

 



Mr. Julian Coates
, Executive VP Corporate Marketing & Product Management, holds a degree in Engineering Science from Exeter University (1979), UK. He joined Valor in 1994 as Managing Director of Valor's European subsidiary. Prior to that, Mr. Coates was the Northern European Sales Manager, and then VP Sales-Europe, for Optrotech SA, and later Orbotech SA, Belgium (1986-1994). From 1979-1986 Mr. Coates worked at British Aerospace, holding the positions of Mechanical Design Engineer, PCB Production Engineer and Production Manager.

 



Mr. Dan Hoz, CFO, holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and economics from Tel Aviv University (1996) and an MBA from Ben Gurion University. Mr. Hoz has been with Frontline PCB Solutions, a joint venture company between Valor and Orbotech, since its inception and held the position of VP of Finance and Operations at Frontline from 1998-2002. In November 2002 Mr. Hoz was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Valor. Mr. Hoz remains on Frontline's board of directors.

 



Mr. Dror Bashan, Vice President Research & Development, holds a bachelor's degree in Mathematics & Computer Science from Ben Gurion University (1986) and a MBA from Bar Ilan University. Mr. Bashan has over 15 years experience in managing new technology projects involving large R&D teams and sub contractors. Among others
he completed a 12 year tenure at Applied Materials responsible for the development of next generation products and being in charge of several joint venture and outsourcing projects to companies in Israel and abroad.

 



Mr. Jay Gorajia, Vice President Corporate Engineering, holds a Bachelors degree (B.Sc.) in Electronic Engineering from California State University at Fullerton and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Technology Management. Mr. Gorajia has 14 years of experience in the PCB industry, where he held various positions including software development, application engineering and project management. Since 1997 Mr. Gorajia acted as Vice President of Customer Support and Engineering at Valor, in Japan and the Asia Pacific regions. He has published a number of articles and White Papers. In addition to his current role, Mr. Gorajia also established and heads the consulting division of Valor, specifically targeted at introducing better efficiencies and productivity in the engineering workflow of PCBA manufacturers.

 



Dr. Henry Jurgens, Director of Product Management, is responsible for all product management activities across the company. Before joining Valor, Dr. Jurgens led Celestica's Corporate Engineering Systems organization, responsible for all information systems that aided Celestica's engineering community in the introduction of new products into manufacturing. He received botha a B.A.Sc in Engineering Sceience and a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Toronto. Dr. Jurgens is also a licensed professional engineer.

 

 



Mr. Masahiro Yoshida
, President of Valor Computerized Systems Japan KK. Mr.Yoshida has a degree in Science of Information Management from Otaru University of Commerce, Japan. He joined Valor in January of 1998 and established Valor Computerized Systems Japan along with Mr. Shofman. Mr. Yoshida and has more than 15 years of sales and management experience in the IT industry. During his tenure as General Manager of Valor Japan, Mr. Yoshida succesfully penetrated the Japanese assembly market and was appointed in 2003 to President of Valor Japan.

 



Mr. David Bengal, President of Valor Computerized Systems Europe NV. Mr. Bengal holds a joint MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and the Recanati Graduate School of Business Administration at Tel Aviv University and a Masters degree in Communications from New York University. David joins Valor after performing several senior business development positions in Amdocs including managing key strategic partnerships and setting up Amdocs development center in India. Prior to Amdocs David served as a management associates at Fishman Holdings

 



Mr. Kay Huat Ong, President, Valor Far East Ltd.
KH Ong joins Valor with more than 15 years of experience in the Electronics industry, working for companies such as Singatronics Electronics Ltd, Siemens Components Pte, Panasonic Industry of Singapore and Universal Instruments Corporation. Prior to joining Valor, Mr. Ong held various senior positions at Universal Instruments, including Vice President of Asia Sales & Support, managing more than 200 employees. Mr. Ong holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Macquarie Graduate School of Management, and a Masters degree in International Marketing Management from Macquarie University of Australia.

 



Mr. Sten Dyrmose
, President of Valor Denmark A/S, holds a B.Sc. in Electronic Engineering from University college of Aarhus and an Executive MBA in change management from Aarhus School of Business. Mr. Dyrmose has over 15 years of experience in development, production and management within the electronics industry. Prior to joining Valor Mr. Dyrmose held positions at bb electronic A/S, Chemitalic A/S and Bang & Olufsen A/S. He's latest position was with Vestas Wind System as Vice president and Factory manager in the Electronic division.
