Valor Reports Record Earnings
Valor was founded in 1992, and is committed to delivering cost effective software tools to the Electronics Industry, for improved and more intelligent engineering solutions.
Israel - 29 January 1998 - Valor, specialists in DFM and pre-production engineering software for the PCB manufacturing market, today announced record results for the financial year 1997, ending December 31st. Sales grew by an impressive 81% on last fiscal year.
Valor develops and sells software solutions for pre-production and manufacturing simulation to the PCB electronics industry. Over 60% of the business comes from North America, with 15% in Europe and 25% in the Far East, the fastest growing territory for Valor.
"Valor continues to grow at a staggering rate for an EDA software company,"said Schmil Dolberg, CEO of Valor Computerized Systems, Inc. "We attribute this continued success to a sound product strategy and range of tools that are well received by the PCB design and manufacturing industry. Last year we introduced Enterprise 3000, a new DFM tool aimed at OEMs in the PCB design market. We have already achieved significant sales of this product to major electronics companies including Apple Computer, Blaupunkt, Delco Electronics, Ericsson, IBM, Lucent, Motorola, Texas Instruments and others."
This rapid growth positions Valor as the premier DFM-solutions supplier to the PCB CAD/CAM community.
A key factor to the success of Valors products lies in ODB++, Valors highly intelligent, open CAD/CAM data format that is fast emerging as the industry standard. ODB++ provides rapid and zero defect data transfer to PCB fabrication and assembly supporting a design anywhere - build anywhere methodology.
The company is well placed to continue this rapid expansion in to the next fiscal year and to fuel this growth will be making a strategic product announcement during 1998 aimed at the assembly market.
