Ayal Bahary,
VP Software Engineering

Moshik Kovarsky
VP New Technologies

Yavne, Israel, October 1, 1999 - Valor Computerized Systems has announced a changing of the guard as founding partner Moshik Kovarsky moves into the position of VP New Technologies and Ayal Bahary steps in as VP Corporate Software Engineering. Kovarsky will concentrate his efforts towards developing new software technologies which leverage off Valor’s substantial Design-For-Manufacturing product-base, all founded on the ODB++ "de facto" standard for new-generation data exchange in the PCB/PCA industries.

Says Kovarsky, "Valor has been the clear leader for electronic DFM solutions for the past four years – our already extensive, yet still growing client list is evidence of this. As the electronics industry continues in the direction of a design-anywhere, build anywhere business model, I welcome the opportunity to explore and develop new software technologies which will allow Valor broaden its offerings. We will, of course, continue in the path that has lead to our success by offering innovative solutions for achieving stronger bottom line results to the industry. "

Bahary has been with the company since early 1993, less than a year after its inception. He has since held the position of product manager and has played an integral role in the development of all of Valor’s current products. Bahary has played a key role in Valor’s policy of working closely with its clients to provide efficient, effective tools, both in the development of new products and the on-going support of current products. Bahary: "I have found that close communication and partnership with our users is the key to enabling us to determine more ways in which the combination of ODB++ data and our core of DFM algorithms can be utilized to improve business performance for the electronics interconnect industry. We see intense pressure to minimize costs and cycle times while increasing quality levels. I look forward to meeting the challenges of achieving these goals in terms of on-going DFM tools development."
